The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees us freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and the right to petition the government. This Amendment makes the people of the United States the freest in the world. This is the foundation of all our liberties. I will fight to preserve it.
As a Cuban-American, I do not take my freedom for granted. My family was ravaged by Castro’s communist regime. He took power as a socialist but within no time he exposed his tyrannical communist claws. Right now, in America, it is not politics as usual. Communism is not at our door, it’s in the house – the White House. As a nation we must resolve to honor our fallen heroes who gave their lives to secure our borders and protect our freedom by standing firm against the socialist-loving, radical left. I will fight to protect the freedom that American soldiers died for.

President Trump revived American pride, stirred patriotic hearts, and lit a flame I will strive to keep alive.
